Artillery Apparel Gallery, started by Mission native Ivan Lopez, showcases some of the sickest art and clothes around. Ivan is an incredible painter; his colorful portraits kick some serious ass. He paints shirts, hoodies, canvases and whatever else he wants in the actual store.
Besides featuring Ivan’s work, Artillery showcases the latest designs in shoes, shirts, jewelry, hats and dresses from over 40 bay area designers. Artillery isn’t just a clothing store, it’s a bridge between Mission residents and artists. Artillery hosts events through the Mission Arts Performance Project (MAPP) and on their own that allow people to see and interact with visual and musical artists doing their thing. Artillery makes art more accessible to the Mission, through their clothing, events and vibe.
Most importantly, Artillery has a big ass colorful pigeon out front. LiLo is thoroughly impressed.
